Let’s get out of our comfort zone people!
It feels SO good to be writing this fashion post. It has seriously been a long time coming, and what better way to introduce you to my blog than with an outfit that is both sweet and edgy.
One of the reasons I will be using my blog is to get out of my comfort zone. Yes, I love Fashion and have always worn what I wanted. But there always will be those daring outfits that you look at yourself in the mirror and wonder, should I step out like this? The Answer is YES, if you feel good, wear it. Express yourself. After all, Fashion is an expression and an art.
So, here is my outfit, all about the Risqué Florals. Risqué because of the sheer and the fact that I decided to just wear a bra underneath. I contemplated for about 5 minutes, should I wear just a bra under, Should I wear a lacy bralette? Well, before I knew it, I had lost my bralette in my plethora of clothing and decided, Bra it is! (It must be a sign, right?) I love this tulle embroidered floral top that I purchased at Zara a few weeks ago. It has such a dainty aesthetic with the light floral colored embroidery and bell sleeves that I chose to make it a bit edgy with the black bra, denim cut-off shorts and black leather wedges.
The gold chained handbag with little decorative pins tied in nicely with the entire look. I am quite obsessed with this handbag, it was honestly one of those “love at first sight” buys while I was shopping at Zara in NYC in the fall. (Btw, it was before Zara opened in Dallas so I was quite astonished by all the clothing! NY Fashion and Zara is SO me.
